In Central Kentucky ,You can wait until the first week of January to set out cauliflower and Broculli transplants. You can seed some crops directly into a fall garden. August is a good time to plant kale, collards, bibb lettuce, turnips and radishes.
Side's dressing fall garden crops with nitrogen will help you produce a bumper crop of leafy vegetables. Frequently water areas you've side dressed if it doesn't rain.
